Bet365 Introduces $0.25 Fee on Bets Under $10 in Illinois

In early September 2025, Bet365 announced a new per-bet fee for its Illinois customers. The operator will charge a $0.25 fee on all bets placed under $10. This move aligns with similar actions taken by other sportsbooks in the state, such as Caesars, DraftKings, Fanatics, and FanDuel. However, unlike some competitors, Bet365's fee applies only to individual wagers under $10, not to parlays or multiple straight bets on the same slip. Bets above $10 will not incur this fee, and any fees charged on voided or canceled bets will be refunded to customers. This change comes shortly after Bet365 secured approval to launch in Maryland, marking its 15th U.S. state entry. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) approved Bet365's online and mobile sports betting license on August 28, 2025. Missouri is expected to be the next state to grant Bet365 approval.
